Alana Da Fonseca
The daughter of Brazilian jazz drummer, Duduka Da Fonseca, Alana grew up in Manhattan surrounded by a community of musicians. After graduating cum laude from Purchase College with a degree in Music Production, she began mixing and producing at an award winning music house in New York City, transitioning into the film/tv space in 2005.
Alana has written over 1,000 songs for TV & film. Her recent projects include; music producer & arranger for the hit Netflix series, Wednesday, for which she was nominated for a Grammy®, series songwriter for the hit Disney Series, Primos, songwriter and producer for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary anthem, The Magic is Calling, and vocal producer for Julian Casablancas’ newly released album with his group, The Voidz.
As a vocal producer she was responsible for the Julie and the Phantoms band songs, and as a music producer, she’s contributed to The Addams Family, and Eurovision, among many others.
As a vocal coach and producer, she’s worked with actors such as Bette Midler, Will Ferrell, Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth, Anna Farris, and Chris Evans, and top 40 recording artists like Daft Punk, Sean Paul, Kesha, and Miley Cyrus.
